Hi Friends! I am carrying on the Christmas in July project with this sweet Santa card using designs by Polkadoodles.
Santa and the background are colored with Ohuhu alcohol markers. I just love how they blend! The background paper and the sentiment are both from Polkadoodles too. The links are found below.
Please note: I use Silhouette Studio with a Silhouette Cameo. My instruction is exactly how I made my card. You can change design elements as you please and this will work on other brands of electronic cutters. My specific supply list is at the bottom including the links to the design files used.
List basic supplies Digital files
alcohol makers
White cardstock for printing
green cardstock 4 x 5.25 inch panel
black cardstock for shadow layer of sentiment.
white A2 card base
printer
electronic cutter
liquid adhesive
foam adhesive
white acrylic marker
embellishments
Instruction Download and unzip the digital files.
Draw a rectangle 2.75 x 3.75 inches.
Load the Santa digital design and size it to fit the rectangle.
Draw another rectangle 3 x 4 inches. This will be a layer behind Santa.
Draw a rectangle 3.75 x 5 inches.
Drag the digital paper file into this new rectangle.
Choose a sentiment and add that to the workspace in the software.
Using Print and Cut feature for the Santa, a sentiment, and background piece, print and then cut but also cut the white rectangle or use a paper trimmer.
Color the Santa with alcohol markers.
Use an acrylic maker to add white dots for snow.

Glue sentiment to black cardstock and trim to leave a border.Add foam adhesive to back.
Layer and position each piece as shown.

Add embellishments.
