CRAFT Challenge Blog #771

 Happy New Year friends!

It is the first CRAFT Challenge Blog challenge of 2026!

This week's challenge theme is: Anything Goes so I chose to get started on holiday cards now.

The sponsor for this week is: Colour of Love

The design I am working with is Christmas Star.

I used watercolor paints for the background and the snow. I used colored pencils for the rest.

CRAFT Challege Blog #747

Hi friends! I will be doing some catch up on some blog entries so they might be out of logical order. It's really okay. I had considered participating in Creative Fabrica's 28 Days of Love for February by making something each day with what bundle they highlighted but I took a step back for two reasons: 1. I've had some health things going on that took center stage and 2. Most of the bundles have been fonts and that's okay sometimes but I just wasn't up to making a card most days highlighting a font especially when I wasn't feel all that well.

Today I am highlighting a card I made for CRAFT Challenge Blog #747. The theme for that week was Christmas and the sponsored designer was Doctor Digi's House of Stamps The design I received is: Christmas Chaos. I was thrilled to work with this design because it is how December goes around my house.

I colored the image with colored pencils. I added a sentiment, embossing in white. I added some border detail with a white gel pen and some sequins for sparkle.

Craft Challenge Blog #739

 Hi friends!

I'm a little late posting this card as my house was under construction last week. This week's CRAFT Challenge Blog theme is: Christmas present.

The sponsor for this week is: Colour of Love and the design I am working with is: Lil Miss Sassy Christmas Presents

This one is intricate with the coloring but the overall design of the card is simple. I used colored pencils to color the design.

I used pink ink to add to the edges and added s few gems and some spatter of opal watercolors to give it some sparkle.

You can easily turn your coloring pages into greeting cards!
