CRAFT Challenge Blog #753

 Hi Friends!

This week's challenge over on the CRAFT Challenge Blog has a theme of: "Christmas" and the sponsor is Polkadoodles. The design that I worked is  Big Hat Theo. 

I used the print and cut feature with my Silhouette Studio and Cameo and then colored with alcohol markers. I mounted on patterned paper with adhesive foam and added some sequins. Sequins are my most used non-paint embellishment as it makes mailing easier.

Craft Roulette Episode #254

 Hi friends!

My 6th contribution for the Craft Roulette show is here for episode #254.

 The parameters for this episode are: 

Project: book binding card

Colors: Candy

Element: Rhymes with "ogg"

Random: Letter(s)

My card is book bound on the left. I used the colors of a Tootsie Roll wrapper. Dog rhymes with "ogg" and the letter are "woof woof!"

 There are so many things that rhyme with "ogg" such as hog, frog, bog, fog, log, dog and I almost chose frog. I decided to pick dog because Tootsie Roll candy popped in my head and that made a lot of sense for a dog. 

The background color and the dog's food dish are that orange-red color seen on the wrapper and the dog is two shades of brown. I am getting better at grabbing backgrounds from my giant stack of scrapbook paper.

The inside greeting is "I ruff you" --- so cute!

The stamp/die/embossing folder set I used for this project has been retired, however, there is a stamp set available that includes the same elements and more that I include in the supply list.

Craft Challenge Blog #738

 Hi Friends!

I'm back from my October events. If you didn't catch my announcement earlier, I perform as two separate Halloween characters all over metro Detroit starting mid-September through October. During this time I limit my work and social life as my schedule gets very hectic and I want I enjoy it with as little stress and exhaustion as possible.

Also -- CRAFT Challenge Blog is back after being suspended for a few weeks while the owner of the blog recovers from being sick. So here is the first project for the return:

The theme for this week is: Anything Goes and the sponsor is: Trimgym Digital Stamps and Images

I used my Silhouette Cameo and Studio software to resize and multiply the seahorses. I then print them out and had my Cameo cut them out for me. I colored them using alcohol markers.

I pulled one of my water colored card panels out of my basket of panels I previously made. I love that I have a pile of these waiting to be something wonderful.

I chose a sentiment that went along with the ocean.

I stamped it in a contrasting blue color. 

I added clear embossing to it to give it shine and texture.

I added some gold sparkle spatter. 

I added clear drops.
