Hi there friends!
Today was a relaxing day. I try to allow downtime around holidays. We all need that from time to time.
Today's card is using a stamp set from Gina K Designs.
- Cut a 3.75 x 5 inch panel in cream with a die to make it a frame.
- Lay the frame on a white 4.25 x 5.5 inch card panel and mark the edges so you know where you are working.
- Use blue ink and a blending brush to get an uneven, darker at the time coverage inside the frame.
- Stamp the tree and deer on the blue with black ink.
- Stamp the sentiment in the bottom corner as this would just get cut off and discarded later.
- Add some blue coloring to the sentiment area.
- Cut the sentiment off the panel. You can use the die for this set, I just chose not to and used scissors.
- Using white acrylic paint, splatter some on top of the design to represent snow. Let this dry so it doesn't get smeared.
- Glue the frame to the decorated panel.
- Cut off any excess paper.
- Use adhesive foam attach the sentiment.
Check out the supply list below for all that I used to make this card.

Please Note: I am a big advocate of using supplies you already own but I understand that readers might be interested in specific products that they might not already own. This post contains product links so you can easily find any supplies and/or tools you may be interested in. As an affiliate, I may be compensated for a purchase made using my links. However, no additional cost is extended to you. The other links are just to help guide you in the right direction. I am not affiliated with all companies but I encourage you to shop small businesses as much as possible. I may even include eBay listings for products that are available there at the time this is posted. I only share product information of products I am familiar with and use in my own studio. Papers are just from my collection. I always grab from my scraps first and I don’t keep track of where they came from. Use what you have!
