Hey there,
Last week with Fifi the Papercrafter our Bingo challenge was to make an envelope decorated with a tissue, grit paste, paint, embossing folder, and the FREE space which means anything goes.
I have a giant stack of 12x12 scrapbook paper that grows quicker than I use it. I bought some of it many years ago but people give me their unwanted paper too. I have been using it a lot lately in various projects and one of them is envelopes. They make great envelopes especially the lighter weight papers.
I went with a feminine heart theme. My mind as a creator and card maker is that my "seaason" is usually a month or two ahead of the calendar. To me, I am winding down Valentine and Winter seasons and will soon start St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and Spring.
I decorated the back as opposed to the front. These bingo projects are being made with intentions of putting them in a journal. I am not much of a scrapbooker or junk journal maker. I enjoy the process and the elements of both but I am not one to keep those things if I make them so I just generally don't anymore. So, this envelope may end up in a journal that Fifi's group, which I am a part of, is making in stages or I just might use it somewhere else. I might add more to this project later.
