Hi there friends!
Today's card is posting a little late again. I do most of my crafting at night when the house is quiet and before I go to bed. It just works for me and helps me settle down from the busy day.
Instruction:
- Cut a patterned paper to 3.75 x 5 inches.
- Using hot foil on a Glimmer machine, hot foil a holiday foliage design on top of it in a different color.
- Cut a solid cardstock to 4 x 5.25 inches.
- Cut a layered evergreen tree and adhere to the foiled paper.
- Cut a large sentiment in gold and adhere on top.
- I used a black fine line marker to outline and add a shadow effect to the text. I felt it disappeared into the background to much and wanted to help it pop.
- Add some wispy marks to the tree in white.
- Add some sparkly sequins or gems to the tree for ornaments and sparkle.
I used a hot plate and the tree die from sets by Crafty Meraki. They were a small business that closed last year. I still will use things like that because many people may still own them or have similar products. In my supply list below, there is an ebay listing for the tree, if interested.
