CRAFT Challenge #729

 Hi friends!

I hope you are doing well and enjoying summer and we approach that final leg of it for 2024. I've been doing a little bit of that and some garden work too.

This week CRAFT Challenge blog theme is: Summer

The sponsor for the week is: All Dressed Up and the design I chose is: summer

I printed the design on my printer and cut it down to about 3 x 4.75 inches using a decorative die.

I used colored pencils and Distress crayons to add color to the design.

I cut a piece of green cardstock with the same style of decorative die to place behind the colored piece.

I used dimensional foam adhesive to pop up the top layer and attached them to a card base. I added some pink gems too.

CRAFT Challenge Blog #728

 Hi Friends!

This week on the CRAFT Challenge Blog the theme is: Christmas

You can find the blog here: CRAFT Challenge Blog

The sponsor is: Polkadoodles

The design that I am using is:  Pickles Hedgehog christmas pudding

This one was a quick make. I used the print and cut feature in Silhouette Studio to print and cut out the design. I colored the character with colored pencils.

I chose some contrasting papers for the background and some embellishment items since he wasn't sized to take up the whole card panel.

I raided my bucket of left over ephemera and embellishments from other projects and came up with a fitting sentiments and the holly leaves that are scattered.

Prime Day!

 Hi friends!

I thought I would provide this link list of products found on Amazon that have deal for Prime Day.

These are not all products I would use in my studio but I am also an avid gardener, hiker, fitness participant, cook, etc. I am only presenting items that I use and like. I am very picky as to not purchase a bunch of Made in China products because they are cheaper. I get that I can't always buy Made in USA but I am selective on brands. I will change and update this throughout the event.
