This week's CRAFT Challenge Blog's theme for this week is: male.
The sponsor is: Colour of Love and the design I used is: Harry Boo Knight.
Harry Boo Knight is the character shown and I used the castle and the sentiment from a Brutus Monroe set, found in supply list.
I started off use Silhouette Design Studio to trace and size the design and had my Silhouette Cameo cut it out once I printed it.
I used colored pencils to color him.
I stamped a castle with black ink. I then colored it with colored pencils.
For the background, I used Distress Oxides to color the sky and grass. I also drew in and colored stepping stones from the castle to the knight.
I colored the white border around the castle to match the background. Most people don't do this. I don't really like white borders on the die cuts so if I can easily color them, I will. I also colored the white spaces on the knight the color of the grass. I know the spot by his helmet really makes sense to color gray like the castle but it's too close to the color of his helmet so i opted to keep it green. It's fine.
I cut the background card panel with a die to frame it.
I glued the castle in place.
I attached the knight with 1mm adhesive foam.
I stamped and die cut a sentiment and attached with 2mm adhesive foam.
I drew in some grass strands with green colored pencil and added some green sparkle gems.
I glued the card panel to a card base.
