Day 11: 31 Days of Halloween Cards with Postage Collage

 Hi friends!

Today I am sharing two cards made from a postage collage sets. There are a few companies that have their own postage collage line. I really line Waffle Flowers sets and I like LDRS Creative's too. I also have Diamond Press's version but I don't think they will add on to it. The Ton has some beautiful stencils but I just don't have any of those in my collection. Today I am using stencils by LDRS Creative and stamps by Waffle Flower.

Inking with a brush is the cleanest and easiest way to use these stencils. Below are pics from each layer. This set has 4 stencils and I use blue painter's tape to mask edges when needed so as to not mix colors on the design. The colors I used are in the photos as well.

Then I apply stamped images to give them more of the postage look:

I add some fine line details here and there with white and black pens. I like my jack-o-lanterns to have yellow faces like a candle is inside of them but adding a little black outlining helps their face stand out a little more. I used an acrylic marker in yellow for the yellow portion. It shows yellow better on top of inks. You can leave the stamps together and use as a card front or cut them apart. Here I am making two cards with them.

I added die cut words as a short sentiment with a patterned background and adhered the stamps. I also use adhesive foam to prop up one.

Add some sparkly embellishments and you're done!
