Hi there friends!
Today I am sharing another addiction to my Birthday Card Catalog using Spellbinders new release with Esther Glas.
Today I made the divider for the August birthday cards. I still used the same base card as I do for each person that I send card to but I added a labeled tab at the top. Each month will use things that represent that month and could be derived from birth stones, zodiac, flowers, seasons, holidays, etc.
Here I chose poppies because that is an August flower. I stenciled the flowers, added some background color and two shades of splatter.
My style, even in junk journals, is still quite simple but I love color. Junk journals are traditionally made with a distressed vintage style but that isn't always my mood. I love color and sparkle. I just do You will see as the projects progress that I will tend to really lean more towards color and sparkle.
I can now add 2 index cards that I made for 2 people to my August divider as they both have August birthdays.
