Spinner card

 Hi friends!

Today I have a spinner card to share with you!

I am using a stamp set from Peddler's Den called Ski & Skate Set.

I stamped on a Gelli Plate with black ink and transferred that ink onto white card stock. This is done to get a reverse image. I then stamped directly on cardstock. I cut both images out with a round die. I used a black marker to add to the stamped images.

I glittered the edges of the circles just to give it some color and sparkle. Next we will need some clear thread and a larger circle die that will be big enough to give clearance when the stamps circles are spinning. I have tried using twine and other strings before and they do not spin as well.

Position and tape the larger circle die to a card panel that is taped to the front of a card base. Maker sure the base is open. Stamped circle shown here to show you the size difference. Don't add it to yours. Run the card panel and opened base through the die cutter at the same time.

Leaving the 2 card pieces taped together open them so you are working on the back of the card panel. Cut a piece of clear thread and make a knot at both ends to give the glue something to hold on to. I put the knot down towards the top of the card and centered above the cut out circle.Dab with glue and for added security cover with a piece of tape. Below the cut out circle repeat the adhesive and make sure the string is taut. Let dry.

Put one stamped circle under the string with the top of the image at the top of card. Add adhesive and attach other stamped circle with the string in between them. Let Dry.

Wind up the spinner by turning it several times with the card open. Close the card. Open the card and it should spin!

Decorate the inside and outside of the card as desired. I'm saving this to use later. If could be birthday, winter, holiday, or congrats for a skater.
