Hi there friends!
Can you believe August starts tomorrow! Eek! The year keeps flying by. Christmas in July didn't even convince me that Christmas was getting so close. I know, I know, I didn't share a holiday card every day in July. My life gets busy unexpectedly quite often. My garden also sometimes calls for my attention. It's all part of life.
Today is the Spellbinders release with Esther Glas! I was selected to work with this release for them and I will be making projects all month long to highlight these fun sets.
If you're into journaling, junk journals, scrapbooks, inking, vintage, distressing -- then this release is totally geared towards you! While I admire so much what people do in those genres, I hope to share different styles and uses.
A big project that I am working on is a birthday card catalog. I make a card for it that highlights a specific person and things that make me think of them or something I know that they like. When I make a birthday card that is perfect for that person it gets stored behind their name card in the card catalog box that I will set up.
For this card for Bonnie --
I used an embossed index card that includes her name and the day of the month her birthday lands on. I picked some violets as she likes gardening and flowers with some summer color inspiration.
I think that's a pretty good start to a fun project that will get so much use for years to come!

This post contains product links so you can easily find any supplies and/or tools you may be interested in. As an affiliate, I may be compensated for a purchase made using my links. However, no additional cost is extended to you. The other links are just to help guide you in the right direction. I am not affiliated with all companies but I encourage you to shop small businesses as much as possible. I may even include eBay listings for products that are available there at the time this is posted. I only share product information of products I am familiar with and use in my own studio. Papers are just from my collection. I always grab from my scraps first and I don’t keep track of where they came from. Use what you have!
