Mother's Day Card with Diamond Press - Use What You Have #2

 Hi friends!

Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card using Spring Blooms kit by Diamond Press. Diamond Press primarily sells their products through HSN and their own website. They are starting to branch out over the pond. They are one of my favorite craft companies because I love their sets for cardmaking. They are budget priced and great for beginners.

I stamped the butterflies on the background.

I stamped the sentiment on vellum and heat embossed it.

The boots and flowers are stamped then colored with alcohol markers.

All the stamps are in the same set! This set is discontinued so it might be hard to find but check out their other sets:

Mother's Day card with Fifi the Papercrafter digital pages

 Hi friends!

Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card I made using digital pages by Fifi the Papercrafter and her Romantic French Lavender Kit.

I merged the graphic of the lady with the frame and had my Silhouette Cameo cut it out.

Floral frame around the lady is from the Silhouette Design Store: frame

I darkened the sprigs of the frame with ink.

I added some details to the postage stamps with stamps from Waffleflower. The sentiment has been heat embossed onto vellum. The sentiment is from Diamond Press's set called Spring Blooms. I think it has been discontinued. Use something you already have!

Use What You Have Series #1

Hi friends! I decided to start a new series of cards. The way the economy is up and down with the tariff war and political issues so many small businesses in the craft industry are getting hit really hard. Every week more than one store and/or designer calls it quits. It is so depressing to watch. While we all want to run out and support them as much as we can, these uncertain issues are a real fear for many of us too. I am still putting in a good effort to support all this businesses that I love, I also want to encourage you to use the things you have already. We all have so many tools and supplies that get ignored or lost in our collections. For this series, I am going to choose some random supplies and a color card too and make a card. I encourage you to do this too, maybe even use my example as your prompt. My spinner wheel came up with "whale" and here is my whale card:

I pulled a card from the color cube:

I chose these products from my collection:

I couldn't find these products on their sites but maybe you already have them or something similar that would be good to use too! I would love to see your version. I am adding this series in my rotation of projects.
