Bingo Challenge Jan 8th with Fifi the Papercrafter

Fifi the Papercrafter is starting this year off this year with some new activities in her group and one is starting a weekly Bingo challenge. This week the challenge is to make at least one tag using as many as these elements: ink, stamp, gilding wax, and image transfer. Image transfer is the hardest one for me because I don't have the best supplies for it so I opted to do all the others. I am in a Valentine's day mood this week so here are two tags I made with all that...

Birthday Card using Silhouette Cameo sketch tool

This week I made a birthday card to send to my brother. He recently bought an automobile from the 1930s so I wanted to make a card with one on it. It isn't the exact car he bought but it is pretty close.

I chose this design from Creative Fabrica:

I uploaded the SVG file into Silhouette Studio. I turned it into a sketch file and changed the edge lines to sketchy so it would have a more realistic sketch look. I had my Silhouette Cameo sketch it out using a bronze color pen.

I cut it out with a rectangle stitched die to give it a more finished look and decided to add some background color with watercolors. 

I mounted it on a piece of black cardstock. The image is not on watercolor paper so it became wavy but no worries since I am gluing it down. I think decided to add a sentiment and a cloud and sun for weather. I'm pretty pleased with the end result!
